What cookies are. They are small files stored on your device when you open a website. They help the website “remember” you and your choices, either for a single visit or for later ones. Some are deleted as soon as you close your browser, others stay until their expiry date or until you delete them yourself.

We do not use marketing cookies. We do not display adverts, we do not follow you on other websites, and we do not sell or rent your data.

Who else is involved. The measurement cookies are set by Google, through the Analytics service. Card payments are carried out by Cardlink (Eurobank), the card payment provider: you are taken to the bank's own page, where the bank sets its own cookies — none of them is stored on grifon.gr. On the contact forms and at checkout, Google's reCAPTCHA is also in use; it tells a human apart from an automated program and loads as soon as you touch a form. Google may also process data outside the European Union.

Google's reCAPTCHA only loads on pages that have a form, and only when you start filling it in. It does not store a cookie on grifon.gr; it may use its own cookies on the google.com domain, in line with Google's privacy policy.

Embedded video and map. On the home page there is a video from YouTube and a Google map. Both belong to Google services and, once they load, they may place cookies of their own. That is why they do not load by themselves: in their place you see a box with a “Show content” button. They load only if you press it, or if you have already pressed “I accept” on the cookie message.

How you give and how you withdraw your consent. On your first visit the message appears with two buttons: “I accept” and “No, I do not accept”. Until you answer, only the strictly necessary ones are activated. If you press “No, I do not accept”, no measurement cookie is placed — and any that had already been set are deleted. You can change your decision at any time from the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. On small screens the two buttons appear shortened, as “YES” and “NO”.

How long your answer lasts. We ask your browser to remember the answer for one year. Some browsers —mainly Safari on iPhone, iPad and Mac— limit this duration to a few days on their own, and we cannot change that. If this happens, you will see the message again sooner. It is not a fault: until you answer again, only the strictly necessary ones are activated.

How you control them from your browser. Every browser has settings for cookies, usually in the “Settings → Privacy and security” menu. From there you can see them, delete them or block them. If you block everything, some functions of the shop —logging in and the cart— will not work.

What we keep from your answer. When you answer the message, we record the answer, the date, your network address and your browser, so that we can prove the consent. This information is kept for one year and is not used for any other purpose.

Your rights. You can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your data, and you can also object to its processing, by writing to info@grifon.gr. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority: Kifisias 1-3, 115 23 Athens · telephone +30 +30 210 6475600 · contact@dpa.gr · www.dpa.gr.

Changes. We may update this policy. The current version applies from 7 September 2026.
